This notice explains how personal information is handled when you visit ZooSup.com or contact us about a payment. Orders placed with BirdsMalta.com or dPet.mt are also covered by the relevant shop’s privacy policy.

What we use and why

• Your enquiries: if you email us, we use your email address, name and the information you choose to send, such as an order number, payment date and amount, to respond and help identify your order.
• Order records: where necessary, we consult the relevant shop’s records to match a payment, resolve an enquiry or fulfil our obligations to you. We may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing order information.
• Technical information: services that deliver and protect this website may process your IP address, requested page, browser details and access time to serve content and maintain security.

We rely on taking steps at your request or performing our contract with you for order support, our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website, and legal obligations where records must be retained or disclosed. You do not need to provide contact information simply to read this page. We may be unable to resolve an enquiry without enough information to identify it.

Service providers and shop links

Hosting, email and shop service providers process information needed to provide their services. Logo images on this page are delivered from our shops’ Shopify-hosted image services, which receive the technical information needed to load those files. Opening a shop link takes you to that shop, where its privacy and cookie settings apply.

This page is published through OpenAI Sites and delivered through Cloudflare. Our email service is provided through GoDaddy and Microsoft 365. These providers may process technical or correspondence data in countries outside the European Economic Area. Contact us for details of the providers and transfer safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

How long information is kept

We keep enquiry information for the time needed to resolve the matter and any related follow-up, and where necessary to meet legal record-keeping requirements or handle a dispute. The period depends on the nature of the enquiry and whether it forms part of an order or accounting record. You can ask us about the retention period relevant to your enquiry.

Your choices and rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of its use, or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting processing already carried out.
